Aasha and Carlon discovered Natalie Sofer Weddings & Events through The Knot while living in San Diego, seeking to create a meaningful, multicultural wedding in Los Angeles. With a shared love for the ocean, we selected Terranea Resort—a setting unmatched in its natural beauty and sweeping views of the Pacific. Since childhood, Aasha had dreamed of a purple wedding, and together we brought that vision to life with elegance and intention. Lush roses and lilac bouquets set the tone, while sequined aisle runners and richly layered tablescapes added subtle glamour.

To honor Aasha’s Indian heritage, a stunning two-foot floral elephant—crafted from white roses with soft purple accents—served as a centerpiece, complemented by baby elephant details and custom place cards throughout the venue. Guests enjoyed Indian curry prepared by a renowned Indian chef alongside thoughtfully curated cuisine, with music blending Indian and American influences.

The result was an exquisite celebration—one that honored culture, family, and love in a way that was both deeply personal and breathtakingly beautiful.
