A Baby Affair At The Kimpton Hotel

Charlotte found Natalie Sofer Weddings & Events through Google while three months pregnant and dreaming of a beautiful outdoor baby shower. After exploring several rooftop locations, she chose the rooftop at Kimpton Hotel as the perfect setting. As the celebration approached, the Pacific Palisades fire—just twelve miles from the hotel—required a thoughtful shift only days before the event. Working closely and seamlessly with the Kimpton team, we reimagined the experience by transitioning indoors while preserving the exact vision she loved. The color palette, design details, and ambiance were carefully carried through, creating a space that felt just as elevated and intentional as the rooftop she had envisioned. At eight and a half months pregnant, Charlotte was met with calm guidance, understanding, and white-glove care—resulting in a baby shower that felt serene, beautiful, and deeply reassuring.
