Stacy and Renan were living in New York when they discovered Natalie Sofer Weddings and Events through The Knot, seeking to create a Los Angeles–based destination wedding that would thoughtfully bring together family traveling from China and Los Angeles. From the very beginning, one request was clear: the celebration needed to be dog-friendly, as their beloved miniature white poodle, Nicholas, was an essential part of the day. To accommodate their special guest, I selected the The London West Hollywood—the perfect setting for an elegant and welcoming celebration.
Nicholas made a grand entrance of his own, proudly walking down the aisle and delighting guests. The ceremony took place at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels, followed by dinner and dancing at the London Hotel. With 125 guests arriving from China, New York, and Los Angeles, the celebration carried a distinctly cosmopolitan energy. What made the day truly special was the seamless integration of multiple cultures—honored, celebrated, and woven together in a way that felt warm, meaningful, and beautifully unified.
